Golf Information

An excellent way to enjoy Silverado's natural beauty is to play the two, 18-hole Napa Valley Wine Country golf courses, each in the distinctive style of their architect, Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

The premier Napa Valley’s resort courses cover 360 acres and feature lush vegetation, ponds, lakes, three sweetwater creeks, trees arching over the fairways and artfully placed traps and greens.

The 6,500-yard South Course challenges golfers with side-hill lies and more than a dozen water crossings, while the North Course stretches 6,700 yards but is occasionally more forgiving. A complete golf pro shop replete with Napa Valley Wine Country gift items is available in the Club House. A staff of top professionals is on hand to assist guests in improving their golf game.

Yardage:

There are 100, 150 and 200 yardage markers to the center of the green. The flags are color-coded: Red = Front, White = Middle, and Blue = Back. Allow 10 yards difference per color. Sprinkler heads have 3 yardages: Left No. is front edge of the green. Center No. is middle of the green and Right No. is back edge of the green.

Pace of Play:

Please make every effort to complete your round in less than 15 minutes per hole or 4 1/2 hours total. This is a universal challenge. If your group is slow, allow other faster groups to play through. If you are an inexperienced player, score no higher than double par.

Please replace divots, repair ballmarks and leave rakes in the traps after use.

Dress Code: No blue jeans of any type; shorts must be mid-length, males must wear collared shirts.

Silverado Resort invites you to enjoy world-class tennis in the heart of Napa Valley and unlimited use of one of the finest tennis centers found not only in the Napa Valley but in the west with 17 immaculate, plexi-pave tennis courts (3 courts are lighted).

Instruction is available from Tennis Professional Giuseppe Cammaroto as well as the Assistant Tennis Professional Mitchell Jee, top Napa Valley tennis pros.
