2005 Sauvignon Blanc, Hall Road Vineyard, Russian River, Sonoma Valley
This is our first release of 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown at the famed Hall Road Vineyard on the Russian River in Northern Sonoma County. Upon harvest, these concentrated Sauvignon Blanc grapes were 100% barrel fermented and bottled at Petroni Vineyards. Barrel aged for 10 months in French Oak barrels. Alcohol 14.1% - only 125 cases produced (12 x 500 ML).
TASTING NOTES: Our vivacious straw colored 2005 Sauvignon Blanc offers a luscious grapefruit scented bouquet and a medium body that yields a crisp fruity finish that refreshes your palate. This 2005 Sauvignon Blanc’s soft mouthfeel has a fruity style finish (not a grassy style finish) and is ideal with all seafood, chicken, and pasta recipes. |
