Golf Lessons
With Teaching Pro: Doug Booth, PGA Golf Professional
Members and non members of Petaluma Golf and Country Club may schedule golf lessons with Doug Booth, PGA Golf Professional. Lessons are offered at the driving range, the pitching and chipping green which includes a sand bunker, the practice putting green, and on course play.
Doug uses video analysis during all of his lessons to allow the golfer to view their swing at a true speed, slower speed, and frame by frame speed. Being able to visualize the corrections actually taking place is a valuable tool for learning and feeling the correct swing methods and positions. With the expertise of his teaching philosophies applied to your swing techniques, each golfer will grasp a better understanding of why as well as what the changes will create. These changes will help you increase your accuracy, distance, and feel of the proper swing making for a more enjoyable golf game. Working with the swing you have already developed in the past and making sure these changes are comfortable is his main goal.
Doug is also certified in teaching the handicapped. Through his years of teaching and seminars he has attended, he has learned to teach stroke victims, people with chronic back problems, and the physical and mentally challenged.
Lessons are offered to members and non-members of Petaluma Golf and Country Club. Private, Group, and Junior Instruction from the beginner to the advanced are offered most days with an advanced reservation. Just call the club to schedule a lesson. |
