Each of our unique Victorian-style rooms includes a private bath, free high-speed/wireless Internet access, telephone/voice mail, down comforters, European antiques, a coffee grinder and brewer, a CD player and an alarm clock. Our room rates vary in price from $145 to $285. Included in your cost is a morning feast we nicknamed the Innkeeper's Breakfast. It's available to you from 7:30 am-10:00 am, and it features a variety of fresh-baked goods, egg dishes, cereals, yogurt, freshly brewed coffee and tea, juices and fruits. Relish your Yosemite adventure and leave the details to us.
Dining
Savor incredible California-fresh cuisine, select from locally brewed beers and hundreds of wine labels and delight in a delectable dessert while reliving your Yosemite adventure. Our menu choices include crisp salads, fresh fish, pasta, melt-in-your-mouth steaks and daily specials, all created with fresh seasonal ingredients.
If you are simply in a rush to get to The Park, we invite you to grab an espresso or refreshing drink on your way through town. We'll also whip up a full-service picnic lunch, which includes everything you'll need for a satisfying lunch, complete with a blanket/tablecloth and utensils, all tucked into a traditional picnic basket or rugged backpack.
During the summer months, we suggest you make reservations in our Victorian Room or patio courtyard. Our little town has only a few full-service restaurants, and seats fill up quickly. We want to ensure you are well fed for your Sierra adventures.
Driving Directions
All public roads into Yosemite Valley are open year-round. Tioga Pass Road (Hwy 120 East between Crane Flat & Hwy 395 near Mono Lake) typically closes from mid-October to late May, although those dates vary. Call the Yosemite road hotline at 209.372.0200 or visit The Yosemite National Park website or The California Department of Traffic website for current conditions.
Although Groveland occasionally receives trace amounts of snow, points east can experience heavy snowfalls. It is advisable to carry chains in your vehicle.
Yosemite Attractions
Between our front door and Yosemite's gates, experience world-class river rafting on the Wild and Scenic Tuolumne River, hike and bike hundreds of miles of trails in the Stanislaus National Forest, cast a line in a multitude of rivers and streams, sled with some silly friends, cross-country ski and snow-shoe.
Bird watching and wildlife spotting is a local pastime. We boast great gray owl and black bear habitat and a whole lot of other wildlife. Visit our local wildlife experts at Mountain Sage for an insider's scoop.
More activities such as horseback riding, golfing and tennis are a stone's throw away at Pine Mountain Lake.
Cultural adventures not to be missed include the Strawberry Music Festival held yearly on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, wine tasting in Murphys, antique shopping in Jamestown and Sonora and attending year-round theatre productions in Sonora.
Stop in for directions and stay for the experience.
